Gift Wrapping 101

OK so I am really guilty of using a good ol’ gift bag with matching tissue and calling it good. However, I do love wrapping paper. The patterns and colors totally pull me in. I also love ribbon and bows. So much fun I can hardly stand it. However, my cat would eat said pretty ribbons. Bags also travel well and we do travel with a lot of gifts at Christmastime. Whatever your style — gather the below supplies and get to work! :)

  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Assorted paper {be green when possible! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — there are various sites that sell Eco friendly wrapping paper.}
  • Gift bags
  • Tissue Paper
  • Garment Boxes
  • Gift Tags {I am making my own this year using a simple square and circle punch and scraps of paper from various projects I have done}.

Another tip? Stock up on these items at the end of the season. Then you will have them for next year but will have paid half the price. I always do this.

Now for my dream ideas of a gift wrapping station {seriously — I wish!}
