Crunchy Peanut Butter-Banana Popsicles

I found these yummy treats in my newest edition of Self Magazine. They were so easy and yummy. Plus they have a mere 165 calories. Not too shabby considering that they are made with healthy peanut butter and bananas. Both are great workout foods. So you can enjoy this frozen treat and know that you are getting a little potassium, calcium and protein.

Crunchy Banana-Peanut Butter Popsicle
3 medium bananas, 1 cup 1% milk, 3 T honey, 5 T natural PB — blend together and then stir in 1/2 c lightly salted dry roasted peanuts, chopped. Pour into Popsicle holders or 8 Dixie cups with a craft stick or plastic knife. Freeze 6 hours.

    These have instantly become my new favourite popsicle. They are wonderfully creamy and just sweet enough. I used soy milk and skipped the peanuts, which I didn’t have on hand.
